Iconic Santorini
By mid-week, I'm usually daydreaming of what my life would look like were I to leave everything behind and move somewhere exotic like Santorini.
I wish I could say I've done it, but every single time I get as far as checking flights, the very small percentage of my brain that is practical somehow overpowers my non-practical/adventurous side.
It's extremely annoying.
Thankfully, travel is something my practical side does allow me to plan for and I'm definitely adding Iconic Santorini, a boutique cave hotel, to the list.
Just read what AD has to say about it: "Carved into a cliff on the Greek island, everyday concerns seem to dissolve into the azure Aegean below. The sparkling whitewashed property, near the west-coast village of Imerovigli, is a perfect base for exploring the popular towns of Oia and Fira as well as ancient sites, beaches, and vineyards. Tucked cavelike into the terrain, its 22 guest rooms, all with water-facing terraces and some with their own grotto pools (the resort’s main pool is pictured), take the rustic Cycladic aesthetic to a new level of refinement."
