Lauren and I first connected a few years ago during the height of the Gossip Girl craze when she was spending her days with Nate, Chuck, Blaire and Serena in the most enviable job imaginable as an intern in the wardrobe department for the show. I was in the midst of launching Tramonti, a jewelry business I started in college, so a mutual friend of ours gave us each others phone numbers to connect. After that first call, we kept up a long distance phone and email relationship, occasionally seeing each other while out shopping when we were both in our hometown of Dallas or in between shows at New York Fashion Week.

One of the many things that I truly admire about Lauren is that she has the most incredibly giving spirit and genuinely kind heart. Lauren has overcome a lot in the past few years and through it all, she has remained true to herself and her strong faith in God, which has been an inspiration to me and countless others.

As the founder and editor of LOLOMag, brand ambassador, model, philanthropist and future Mrs. Jason Kennedy, Lauren Scruggs truly embodies the "Lifestyle Hunter" spirit - living a life dedicated to serving others while pursuing a life she is passionate about living.

For this reason, I was honored that Lauren would take a quick break from life as LOLO to answer our 5 questions...

1. Favorite discovery...

R&D Kitchen. It feels like my home away from home rather than just a restaurant and the food is insanely yummy and healthy, the service exceeds all, and you are always welcomed with open arms. On top of all of that goodness, what I love about it most is the relationships I have built with the people that work there.

2. Go to vacation spot...

The Montage Laguna Beach is our constant escape spot. You feel like you have left a week long vacation after just one night there. It's beyond lovely and truly magical.

3. Happiest when...

I am with the people I love.

4. Best advice I ever received..

My dad has always told me that everyone has a story. It truly brings great perspective to any situation, and it depletes drama.

5. Something very few people know about me...

I love rainbow sprinkles.
